I have never taken as much interest in flower gardens as Mary Ann has and, though I have gotten into maintaining a vegetable garden since we moved to Lynchburg, I haven't been to interested either in enhancements to the yard. My experience with four seasons of trying to have a good vegetable garden at our Lynchburg house have been a bit frustrating for a variety of reasons, so we have severely cut back on what we planted this year: Basil, maintain existing Rosemary, Thyme, pepper plant and a regular and cherry tomato plant.
Wanting our Morgantown Road house to look as great as it can has caused me, however, to pay more attention to garden and yard related resources and topics. Here are some I have found to be useful and helpful.
