It's a great little house, but the hallway configuration
and width and height of stairway just make it impossible
to move big things upstairs! Fortunately, when the guys
delivered the two new mattress/box springs sets yesterday,
they were able to take, at least, the mattresses upstairs to the
two bedrooms. However, to get the box springs to the 2nd
floor required the removal of one of the windows in the master
bedroom. Ed Chitwood, from whom we purchased the house,
had lots of experience with doing this and volunteered to give
me a hand. (Note: though I did stop to take the pictures, I really
DID help Ed!) |
